Ripley's Aquarium

Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach

Ripley’s Aquarium is located in the massive dining and shopping complex Broadway at the Beach, and it delivers hours of endless fun to visitors visiting Myrtle Beach. Recently, there have been two exciting additions at Ripley’s, an Ocean Wonders gallery and a beautiful colony of South African penguins. This 5,500 square-foot edition is Ripley’s largest since it was started 20 years ago and constitutes a floor-to-ceiling viewing glass, eight new tanks, and 360 degrees tunnels for the visitors of Myrtle Beach to crawl through. The Savage Seas traveling gallery is accessible for a limited time, and visitors get to sail the high adventure seas through shipwrecks, pirates, sea monsters, and much more in this section of the interactive exhibit.

Aquatic Education and Fun

The Dangerous Reef shark tank has approximately 14,000 fish and more than 750,000 gallons of water and is one of the permanent and fan favorite attractions in Myrtle Beach. Guests have the chance to be taken through a winding glide path where they have a face-to-face interaction with graceful stingrays and massive shacks, not forgetting Gabby, the green sea turtle who seems to be everyone’s favorite. Wintertime is not left behind either; you and your family can have a good time with the magical sounds and sights at Ripley’s Aquarium’s famous Festival of Trees. Children obsessed with Santa are also not left behind. They can drop their letters in the Christmas mailbox at the Aquarium entrance.
